In January many of you helped with the survey about what you’re dealing with on the field. The results were presented in a workshop in February at the MC2 conferences and WHOOSH it took off! The ways that you helped to articulate what you’re facing were a gift (and a weight) to those who send you. 

In April we recorded a version of the survey results for you to share with your senders and hosted a live webinar to share the results with you, the goers. You can find both here.

Since then we have continued to comb through the results and find ways to get the word out in useable ways that will help people understand what you are facing . . . so that changes can be made! 

Stacey Covell, Christine Rollings, and I wrote a white paper—basically an academic version of the results—and Karen Huber made the paper something visually pleasing for you to read and see the results. Our priorities were:

1. To represent you accurately and fairly while preserving anonymity

2. To present the information in a way that people could digest it (and not feel vomited or dumped on)

3. To create resources that you can share with senders or your organization or colleagues, if you want
