Join us for Centering Prayer

Does this surprise you? One of the results from the January survey—about what you wonder might jeopardize you being on the field—had to do with the cross-cultural worker’s prayer life. Global Trellis has the rhythms of Soul Tending Tuesday and Skill Building Thursdays because we all need both: to stay connected to God and to keep growing our skills.

Multiple people reported in the survey a version of either “I struggle to pray” or “I haven’t prayed in ages.”

Our response isn’t one of shock or throwing our hands in the air; instead, we got curious about why this might be and decided to explore with you some different ways to pray. Then you can see if one (or more of them) work for you! (If you haven’t gotten the Lent Retreat, I highly recommend it and think you’ll find the labyrinth experience especially meaningful!)

As we journey through Lent towards Easter, we invite you to pause in the midst of Holy Week for Centering Prayer in community with others. Lori Ferrell will give a short intro into Centering Prayer, and then we will practice it together for 20 minutes. Afterwards, there will be time to share our reflections on this experience before we close our time together. Whether you are familiar with this practice or curious to try it for the first time, you are welcome to come. No prior experience necessary.

Wednesday, March 27th at 9:00 a.m. EDT for an hour. Click here to see the exact time in your location. We’ll meet for an hour, and this will not be recorded. For men and women. We hope you can join because practicing in community offers a layer of connection (and friendly accountability).

Sign up here.

See you on the 27th.

Help. I paid for retreat and could not attend. Do I have to pay another $15.00 for the recording?

Also I can not find anywhere on site to get a new password.
